- This is a 1966 F100 that I brought home last year. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nE0_EruRl8I&t=3784s, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OnsqTGD_xU). The truck was hot rodded in the 1970's, presumably by a teenager on a tight budget, with a 390 FE swapped in, Toploader 4 speed with hurst shifter, and a 9 inch differential with slapper bars. After getting it running and driving for the first time since 1982, it's time to spruce up the engine and the interior to make the truck a little more drivable and sporty. Things escalated as I ended up having to remove the drivetrain and rebuild the cylinder heads, and the engine almost destroyed itself, but now it's all together and better than ever.
